FAQs

Conduct & Discipline Policy

At Parker AI Academy, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment for all students.

Because our model is intentionally small and high-quality, behavior expectations are taken seriously.

Students are expected to:

• Treat instructors and peers with respect

• Use appropriate language at all times

• Follow instructions promptly

• Participate attentively

• Maintain self-control

• Care for equipment and facilities

• Represent themselves and their families with integrity

We expect students and adults alike to lead by example.

Disruptive or Inappropriate Behavior

The following behaviors are not permitted:

• Repeated disruption of instruction

• Inappropriate or vulgar language

• Disrespect toward instructors or peers

• Refusal to follow reasonable directions

• Physical aggression

• Damage to property

• Bringing unauthorized electronics or prohibited items

Discipline Process

If behavioral concerns arise:

    1.    Verbal correction and redirection will be given.

    2.    If behavior continues, a parent will be notified.

    3.    Continued or serious misconduct may result in temporary suspension or dismissal from the program.

Because we operate in small groups, persistent disruptive behavior affects the entire learning environment and will not be tolerated.

Immediate Dismissal

Parker AI Academy reserves the right to immediately remove a student from the program if behavior:

• Compromises safety

• Shows aggressive or threatening conduct

• Demonstrates repeated disregard for policies

• Severely disrupts the learning environment

Tuition refunds for dismissal due to misconduct are not guaranteed.

Parent Partnership

We believe discipline works best when families and instructors work together.

Parents are expected to support behavioral expectations and reinforce standards at home when needed.

Our goal is growth, accountability, and character development — not punishment.

Parker AI Academy reserves the right to determine whether a student’s continued enrollment is in the best interest of the program community.

Is Parker Academy a full-time school?

No. We are not a full-time school. We are a supplemental co-op.

Is AI used in the classroom?

Yes but always with accountability, wisdom, and structure. We teach AI as a tool, not as a shortcut for learning.

Do students do assignments with AI?

Some activities involve AI but not all of them. Nor does every activity involve a screen.

Do students need prior tech experience?

Not at all. We teach beginners through advanced students.

Our model allows:

  • Homeschool families to keep their curriculum

  • Students to socialize and collaborate

  • Hands-on instruction in AI & biblical discernment

  • Parents to maintain spiritual and academic oversight

  • Access to high-rigor content without overwhelming schedules

Is this too much screen time?

No.

AI sessions are short, focused, and purpose-driven. The only screens used are during brief math and reading intervals. Once those sessions are complete, laptops close and students transition into discussion, hands-on projects, outdoor activity, and face-to-face collaboration.

Will AI replace the teacher?

Absolutely not.

Teachers remain present, engaged, and actively guiding every session. AI simply personalizes practice and provides immediate academic feedback. Mentorship, discussion, eye contact, and character development remain human-led.

Do students bring phones or personal electronics?

No.

We do not allow personal phones or electronics during our sessions. This protects focus, attention, and meaningful interaction.

If a student needs to contact a parent, or if a parent needs to speak with their child, they may do so at any time using our phone.

We value accessibility without distraction.

What is your dress code?

Each student will be provided with a Parker AI Academy shirt, which may be worn during sessions. Students may also wear their own appropriate attire.

To maintain a respectful and focused environment:

• No sleeveless shirts

• No hats worn inside buildings (outside is permitted)

• Clothing must be appropriate and modest

We believe presentation reflects respect — for ourselves and others.

What behavior is expected?

We expect all students and adults to lead by example.

This includes:

• Respectful language

• No inappropriate or vulgar speech

• Positive conduct

• Attentiveness during instruction

• Kindness toward peers

• Accountability for actions

Eye contact, active listening, and thoughtful participation are encouraged.

We believe strong character and strong academics go hand in hand.

How is this different from tutoring?

This is not drop-in tutoring.

Our AI Academic Lab is a structured, guided model designed to streamline math and reading while preserving mentorship, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Students are not isolated behind screens — they are part of a guided learning community.

How many students are accepted?

Seats are intentionally limited to maintain a focused, high-quality experience.

Small groups allow for personalized attention, meaningful interaction, and strong fellowship.
